Meet Veronica Shindo, an associate clinical social worker (ACSW). Veronica is a warm and compassionate therapist whose mission is to provide clients with the tools and techniques to increase their quality of life and outlook.
Veronica is a clinician with training and experience in treating anxiety, eating disorders, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Her work incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Behavioral Activation, and body-positive approaches.
Fluent in Spanish, Veronica provides culturally informed care and is deeply attuned to the mental health barriers faced by BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. She is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where all clients feel seen, respected, and supported. Veronica has worked with diverse populations and brings empathy, compassion, and cultural humility to every session.
